brainset.io, a whole shoot in one system
A joint product: a platform that brings crew, casting, locations, schedules, call sheets, transport and travel for a production together in one place.

The challenge
A commercial production company works spread across one app for scheduling, another for call sheets, casting on email threads and travel in a spreadsheet. Every tool knows a slice of the shoot and none of them talk to each other, so the production team ends up being the glue: copying details between systems and hoping nothing slips before wrap.
What we did
We build it alongside a producer with seventeen years inside the production office: he brings the craft, we bring the product and the technology. The platform wires the modules to each other — someone added to the crew once already shows up on the call sheets, a confirmed location flows into the shooting schedule, the vendor database is reused on every job — and leans on AI for the busywork: reading documents, filling fields, drafting the repetitive parts.
brainset.io takes a production from prep to wrap without leaving the same tool: tasks, calendar, crew, casting, locations, schedules, call sheets, transport, travel, vendors and the creative package, all connected to each other.
What sets it apart is not the list of modules but that every detail is entered once. The crew, vendor and contact database builds itself from the projects that run through the platform, and is ready for the next shoot instead of scattered across folders and spreadsheets.
AI sits where it saves time — document reading, autofill, the repetitive drafts — and not where decisions get made: every call still belongs to the production team. It is currently in private alpha with a small group of production companies, and the budgeting and accounting layer is in development.
